In a media interview after his swearing-in on Tuesday, January 7, Dr. Boako emphasized that the NPP Minority will focus on holding the government accountable, despite their limited numbers. He highlighted their commitment to ensuring that President John Mahama’s government delivers on its promises to the Ghanaian people.
Dr. Boako stressed that the NPP Minority will adopt a responsible approach to opposition, rather than being disruptive. He acknowledged his responsibility to hold the government accountable and pledged to serve the interests of Ghanaians. “We will explore every avenue to achieve this, and nothing else,” he added.
