This move comes as he transitions from his previous role as the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry.
The reassignment was announced in a letter signed by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Jubilee House, on 2 April 2024. According to the letter, Dr Stephen Amoah takes over from the late Hon. John Kumah, who passed away on 7th March 2024, in his new role. The appointment is effective immediately.
In addition to this reassignment, President Akufo-Addo has appointed Hon. Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo, Member of Parliament for Achiase, as the Deputy Minister-designate for Trade and Industry.
