German actress Sandra Hüller was recently honored with another critics’ award in Hollywood. The prestigious U.S. National Society of Film Critics (NSFC), comprising about 60 renowned film critics, announced the winners on Twitter.
Hüller secured the victory, surpassing Emma Stone from “Poor Things” and Lily Gladstone from “Killers of the Flower Moon” in terms of jury votes. This follows her previous recognition by the LAFCA film critics’ association in December.
Additionally, Hüller has been nominated for the upcoming Golden Globe Awards, set to take place in Beverly Hills on Monday night. With a rich history dating back to 1966, the National Society of Film Critics has a track record of selecting films that ultimately go on to win the coveted “Best Picture” Oscar, such as “Moonlight,” “Parasite,” and “Nomadland.”
