As Ghana navigates the aftermath of the 2024 general elections, Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has issued a heartfelt call to action, urging Ghanaians to prioritize dialogue, peaceful means, and the rule of law in resolving their differences. Apexnewsgh reports

This appeal comes on the heels of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) decisive victory, led by former President John Dramani Mahama, who has reclaimed the presidency with a significant parliamentary majority.

In his Christmas and New Year message to Ghanaians, Speaker Bagbin reflected on the challenges the country has faced in governance, economic management, and democratic processes. Despite these challenges, he expressed optimism that the lessons learned will pave the way for improved governance and performance in 2025.

Emphasizing the importance of national unity, Speaker Bagbin stressed that Ghanaians must work together and support one another to drive post-election development forward. He encouraged citizens to accept the election results with humility, acknowledging that the outcome was unexpected, yet ordained by God.

Speaker Bagbin’s message was clear: Ghanaians must come together, putting aside tribal and partisan divisions, to build a stronger nation. By doing so, they can foster an environment of peace, unity, and development, ultimately propelling Ghana towards a brighter future.
