NPP respond to Casper Sunday Kampoli described his comment against Nana-Buwumia as “reckless and irresponsible”

The Upper East Regional Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has registered high level of displeasure with the comment made by Casper Sunday Kampoli, the Deputy Upper East Regional Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). The statement says: “The attention of the Regional Communications outfit of the NPP in the Upper East Region has been drawn to a news item published by APEX News, an online news portal that cited the NDC Upper East Deputy Communications officer (Sunday Casper Kampoli) calling on student nurses to make sure the Nana Addo-Bawumia Government looked bad in the eyes of the patients they will be caring for in the various units of the Hospital, CHPS Compounds, Health Facilities, etc and that is the only way the NDC can win power in the 2024 elections. “This call from Sunday Casper is an admission of the fact that, the NDC has lost the infrastructure and economic development debate in the Region and what is left of them is to do heartless propaganda with innocent patients seeking medical care at various health facilities”. Kindly read full statementFor Immediate Release RE-‘Look for anything to make Akufo Addo-Bawumia’s Government look bad in the eyes of your patients’ -Sunday Casper Kampoli The attention of the Regional Communications outfit of the NPP in the Upper East Region has been drawn to a news item published by APEX News, an online news portal that cited the NDC Upper East Deputy Communications officer (Sunday Casper Kampoli) calling on student nurses to make sure the Nana Addo-Bawumia Government looked bad in the eyes of the patients they will be caring for in the various units of the Hospital, CHPS Compounds, Health Facilities, etc and that is the only way the NDC can win power in the 2024 elections. He said this when he was addressing their new TEIN Members at the Bolgatanga Midwifery Training College on the 1st of October 2022. We condemn his reckless and irresponsible comments in no uncertain terms. This kind of “politicking” is destructive and retrogressive in our body politics. It is preposterous and iniquitous to admonish young, up-and-coming health professionals to do black propaganda about the health of the vulnerable who will be at the mercy of their care. This call from Sunday Casper is an admission of the fact that, the NDC has lost the infrastructure and economic development debate in the Region and what is left of them is to do heartless propaganda with innocent patients seeking medical care at various health facilities. The NDC as a political party that has always benefited massively from the people of the Upper East in terms of votes do not have anything worthwhile to show for the loyalty of the people towards them but can only resort to their dubious, malicious and mischievous propaganda communication to brainwash and hoodwink young nursing students to use the wards, theatres, etc as a political playground instead of professionally caring for the sick. Sunday Casper Kampoli and his ilk must come to terms with the fact that the auditorium he used to make that call was built by an NPP government under former President Kufuor. We can see the NDC running away from the debate of records with their tails between their wobbly legs.We in the NPP will not follow the NDC into the gutters but we shall make sure we bring them out of the gutters, clean, and beat them to the infrastructure debate from which they want to run away from. We would like to advise the NDC to abstain from their dirty propaganda and groom the young ones to grow into becoming responsible politicians in the future rather than resorting to politicizing every aspect of their lives. The NPP will always roll out policies that will inure to the benefit of the ordinary Ghanaian, the 1 constituency, 1 ambulance, the employment of drivers and paramedics to man those ambulances, the agenda 111 initiative which seven (7) Districts namely, Builsa South, Kassena Nankana West, Bolgatanga East, Nabdam, Binduri, Pusiga, and Garu are beneficiaries, the internet connectivity in the Regional Hospital and all District Hospitals to eliminate the folder system, the countless CHPS Compounds and Nurses Quarters that we have built across the Region and the famous drone technology to supply essential drugs and blood to unmotorable areas are all health-related policies by the Nana Addo-Bawumia Government. The integrity of the NPP Government is not sullied that the “NDC nurses” will find it easy to make things look bad in the eyes of their patients. We want to use this release to urge the students to disregard this ill advice from selfish politicians like Sunday Casper and concentrate on becoming health professionals that meet WHO standards. The Deputy Communications Officer as they say Ghanaians have short memory saddenly forgot that his Government led by the incompetent John Mahama canceled the allowance regime with the excuse that those funds were going to be used to expand infrastructure in health colleges. How many of such facilities did the NDC build in this region with those funds? It took the bold, decisive and courageous Nana Addo to restore the allowances of which your TEIN freshers will soon enjoy. It’s worthy of mention that just two weeks ago trainees received their allowances across the Country. We are however, not surprised that such an advise will come from a Deputy Communications Officer just like the leaked tape by their National Chairman seeking to wage a relentless war against the innocent EC Boss and some National officers of our party. We further advise Casper to be measured in his communication and not be carried away by making such populace and Nation wrecking statements just to usher in freshers into TEIN. The Directorate is very much aware of his desperation to remain relevant in a lame communication vehicle of the opposition NDC in the Region. He should have used the opportunity to proffer alternatives regarding policy in the Health sector. We urge the

Bongo: If somebody got money and bought pito or beer for me, that is different DCE said, as Assembly was captured in alleged corruption

An Investigative Journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has released a 1 minute, 34 seconds trailer of corrupt practices going on in the Bongo District Assembly of the Upper East Region under the current administration of Peter Ayinbisa the Acting District Chief Executive (DCE). It is not known what the documentary titled ‘The Bongo Scandal’ is about to unveil. However, the little in public space for now shows where the acting DCE Peter Ayinbisa was swearing to the investigative journalist on camera. “My interest as a Chief Executive is to ensure that Bongo communities get water. Manasseh, I want you to go deeper than you have. I can tell and swear by your camera that this whole contract even 1 has not come to my pocket. I swear same by my vehicle not 1 has come to my pocket. Meanwhile, the Acting DCE was also captured on camera asking  Mannesah to probe further into the matter. He is also heard denying ever benefitting from the award of a contract and in a bit to prove his innocence, swears by Manasseh’s camera and his (Mr. Ayinbisa) car steering wheel, insisting that his only interest was to ensure the provision of potable water for residents of the Bongo District. Mr. Ayinbisa said his interest as a Chief Executive is to ensure that Bongo communities get water. “Manasseh, I want you to go deeper than you have. I can tell and swear by your camera that this whole contract even 1 has not come to my pocket. I swear same by my vehicle not 1 has come to my pocket”. “If somebody got money and bought pito or beer for me, (that is) different but to take part in that process (so that) I will gain something from it, I swear by my lorry steer (if I did that), I shouldn’t get home,” Mr. Ayinbisa firmly stated. However, another official of the assembly was captured by the investigative journalist admitting been wrong in his dealings but claimed he acted in good faith and only realized he was wrong in the course of the investigation. “I’m saying that it is this development that I now know that what I did was not right but when I got to the bank, my belief and trust was that I was doing the right thing for B.A,” the other official of the assembly said. BONGO: Out of 16 candidates contesting the DCEship position in Bongo, one out of these 3 stands a better chance

Even though the NPP National secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party John Boadu days back has cautioned those interested in the position of MMDCEs across the country to be wary of who will come vetting them without any formal announcement from government ahead of MMDCEs position, Bongo District is one of the districts that has gone through their vetting already since January 2021 apexnewsgh.com can confirm. Residents of Bongo in their various locations are now contemplating and as well debating who the best three contestants should be as far as the position DCEship is concerned.  According to the information collated by Apexnewsgh.com through interviews and public opinion engagement in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region regarding the position of the District Chief Executive, it appears the three key names that are in the minds of the Bongo people to be appointed as the President’s representative in the District are as follows: Ayinbisa Peter Ayamga, Akurigo Eric and Diana Aburiya .A. The three names above according to the people of Bongo stand the chance of getting the position. However, the former District Chief Executive Peter Ayinbisa chances of maintaining the seat look bright because the majority of those who spoke to Apexnewsgh.com said they won’t be surprised if President decides to maintain Mr. Ayinbisa as their next DCE because he has shown good leadership and as well marketed the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) within the past 4 years as the Bongo District Chief Executive (DCE) now known as ‘Bongo Dubai’ since his administration. However, Mr. Akurugu Eric and Diana Aburiya have also been described by those we engaged as hardworking party members who have contributed their quota to the party in one way or the other. However, the President has the final say, even though these are views of residents Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications.
