Some frustrated unemployed graduates teachers from the various Distance Education Certificate holders are seeking answers from government, especially they have been neglected for long to be employed as professional teachers despite the Ghana Education Act 2008.
The unemployed distance graduates made the call in a press conference organized in Bolgatanga the Upper East Regional Capital on Thursday September 24, 2020.
According to these neglected teachers, the Act 2008 provides the regulatory bodies for Education, a decentralized pre-tertiary education system and an educational system to produce individuals with the requisite knowledge, skills and values to become functional and productive citizens for national development and for related matter.
Majority number of these distance graduate teachers, completed their education since 2016/2017 but have still denied employment in both NDC and NPP administration, after been more qualified.
However, the discriminated unemployed distance graduates teacher, has given government up to end of the year to either employ or face their woes.
