Upper East Regional Minister Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih has visited the Bawku central mosque to make a meaningful contribution on behalf of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Apexnewsgh reports
The generous donation of 2,000 bags of cement was intended to support the completion of the mosque and to demonstrate Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to the community.
On a Friday, specifically on October 11, 2024, Dr. Bin Salih participated in the Friday prayers at the central mosque, joining the Bawku Municipal Chief Imam and the Ummah.
The gathering included Quran recitations and prayers for national peace and leadership. Notably, special prayers were offered for Dr. Bawumia’s success in the upcoming presidential election and for peace to return to Bawku.
During the visit, Dr. Bin Salih presented the cement to the Municipal Chief Imam and Muslim leaders, who expressed gratitude to Dr. Bawumia and extended their best wishes for his success in the election. This act of generosity truly reflects Dr. Bawumia’s dedication to supporting community development projects in the region.
