Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former president of the Ghana Football Association, has been discharged from the hospital after being admitted for stress following Ramadan. Apexnewsgh reports
A video shared by GHOne TV via X showed Nyantakyi arriving at a voting center for the NPP parliamentary primaries in Ejisu. Despite appearing frail and having difficulty walking, he waved at party delegates at the center.
The NPP primaries in the Ejisu constituency are being held following the passing of the late Member of Parliament, Dr. John Kumah.
The NPP vetting committee recently cleared nine aspirants to vie for candidacy in the party’s parliamentary primary, including Kwesi Nyantakyi. The Electoral Commission has scheduled a by-election in the constituency for April 30, 2024.
