The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency, Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK), has defeated the heavyweight John Boadu, the General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP). Apexnewsgh.com report

In a national delegate’s conference of the NPP on Saturday, 16 July 2022, that traveled into the little hours of Sunday, 17 July, Justin Frimpong Kodua defeated Mr. Boadu and three others with a ‘Buga’ style, putting John Bodu and his supporters in a certain level of ‘fear the delegates state of mind’.

Meanwhile, a few days ahead of the delegate’s congress, a video of almost all the 16 NPP Regional Chairmen led by the Ashanti Regional Chairman Wuntumi were sighted throwing their support to Mr. John Boadu.

However, it appears the words of Mr. Kennedy Agyapong a very influential personality of the party were stronger than the support put together by almost all the regional party chairmen because a videotape sighted by this platform showed that Mr. Agyapong vowed to make sure John Boadu is defeated as national party secretary.

Certified results from the Electoral Commission show that Justin Frimpong Kodua polled 2,837, whiles his closest contender, John Boadu, the incumbent, polled 2,524.

The others polled the following:
Idrissu Musah – 104
Ramseyer Ahmed Agyeman-Prempeh – 8
Frederick Opare Ansah – 50
