UCC Postponed Opening Date Of Application Portal for Teachers With Diploma Top Up Degree Programmes

The Institute of Education recently called on all in-service teachers with Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) to apply for a degree top-up Programme which will run for a year. This decision came to being after further deliberations from the teacher Unions and some major stakeholders of the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The university closed the application portal without any prior notice to teachers who had the desire to apply for the educative programme.

However, after several agitations by these in-service teachers, the cape coast university decided to reopen the portal again on Monday, 25 October 2020 but has once again swerved their decision to do so.

The current update about the application processes has been changed. The portal according to UCC would be made accessible on Wednesday, 28 2020.

The institute is calling on all interested DBE holders to hold on till Wednesday to start the application process.

However, all applicants who had the opportunity to apply when the portal was accessible should do the need to revisit the portal on Wednesday to make all the necessary corrections.
