Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, the Upper East Regional Minister, embarked on a significant visit to Bawku to address the recent clash among security personnel and engage with key stakeholders in the region. Apexnewsgh reports 
During his visit, Dr. Bin Salih paid a courtesy call to the esteemed Bawku Naba Asigri Abugrago Azoka II at his palace.
The Minister briefed the traditional leader on the current security situation in the area, receiving commendation from the Bawku Naba for the efforts of the Regional Security Council (REGSEC) in maintaining peace and harmony.
Continuing his engagement, Dr. Bin Salih interacted with security personnel from various agencies at the Assembly Hall of Bawku Senior High School and later at Missiga Custom Station.
He emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration among the agencies, encouraging them to share intelligence and information to enhance their effectiveness.
The Minister’s visit highlighted the government’s commitment to resolving the long-standing Bawku conflict and ensuring national security.
By fostering collaboration and coordination among security agencies, Dr. Bin Salih aims to promote peace and stability in the region. Notably, he was accompanied by notable commanders of various security departments in the region.
